Mother commits suicide with dengue along with two children

A heartbreaking incident took place near Malali village of Hosadurga taluk where a mother along with her two children committed suicide by jumping into the check-dang.

Janakal Lambani Hattia's wife Arpita (28), daughter Manasa (6) and son Madan (4) are the deceased.

Marriage 8 years ago Arpita of Janakal Lambanihatti and Kondajji Manjanaik of Lambanihatti got married in Hosadurga Taluk. The couple had two children. Manjanaik, who was addicted to alcohol, was suspicious of his wife. It was like making a noise and attacking. Aggrieved, Arpita took her two children and jumped at the checkpoint and died.

Arpita is said to have made a selfie video before her death. As soon as the matter came to know, Hosdurga police visited the place and took out three dead bodies from the check dam. A case has been registered in Hosdurga police station regarding the incident.
